Well now...

So I set my alarm for my 7am in order to get an early start on my day, but when I woke up, it was still really dark out and everything was super quiet (both the street and the hotel). I know the sun rises at around 7am back home, so I was a little surprised. Alas, I stayed in bed until about 8am, when I finally started to see some light outside. Alright, cool. I got up, got dressed, and exited my room. The hallway was pitch dark, but I went downstairs anyway to see if anyone else was around. (I assumed the owners, this really nice woman and her son, would be there.) Nothing. More pitch dark. I thought, “No problem. I’ll just go wander around outside, and see if I can find food.” However, my plans were thwarted. The door was locked. Lol, I can’t go outside, so now I’m just sitting here…

It’s pretty quaint, minus the whole not being able to leave business.

It’s nice (hooray for WiFi), but the bathroom doesn’t have a shower curtain, which I thought was kind of odd. I tried not to get water everywhere, but inevitably I did.

I guess it’s just a waiting game now! :x
