[Insert witty title here]

Nothing particularly notable happened at work yesterday (other than that at coffee break there was tortilla, haha), and today was equally unremarkable, although I do want to record my feelings about a teacher I work with, albeit only once per week. She teaches science for the second grade, and she's a little out there... Her hippieish quirks aside, what really kind of bothers me about her (other than the fact that she doesn't like my American accent and thinks I should correct my pronunciation of autumn) is that she seems like a bit of a perfectionist with the children. Don't get me wrong, I can be a little bit of a control freak sometimes, too, but I'm smart enough to understand that with kids it's a whole 'nother ball game. Currently, she's making the students create a booklet about fall, but she makes them start each page over again if they make a "mistake" (for instance, if they draw a box and the lines aren't straight). It seems a bit excessive to me, and while I can appreciate that she's setting the bar at a high level, maybe it's too much to expect..? Frankly, I don't know actually know anything about this kind of thing; these are just my thoughts. I figured I'd share just for fun. Alas, that is all for now!
