The best-known work on display at the museum is Las Meninas by Velázquez, so I got a magnet of that. After walking around for a few hours, we then headed to El Retiro (Madrid’s main park) and had lunch there. The weather was lovely, so after we ate we visited the Palacio de Cristal. There was some modern art on display (photo courtesy of Google Images):

The pamphlet described the cestos de la ropa sucia as “seductores,” among other things, which we found funny. And with that, we called it a day -- a fun one, I’d say :D
