Seductive laundry baskets

This morning I went to the Museo del Prado with LP and two of her friends (also auxiliares). It was pretty cool. Obviously, there was a lot to see, but the highlights for me were Titian’s Adam and Eve and Caravaggio’s David and Goliath (seen below, thanks to Wikipedia).



The best-known work on display at the museum is Las Meninas by Velázquez, so I got a magnet of that. After walking around for a few hours, we then headed to El Retiro (Madrid’s main park) and had lunch there. The weather was lovely, so after we ate we visited the Palacio de Cristal. The pamphlet described the cestos de la ropa sucia as “seductores,” among other things, which we found funny. And with that, we called it a day -- a fun one, I’d say :D
