Work today was nothing super special. I worked one-on-one with second-graders, third-graders, and fourth-graders. They all struggled. I wonder if I'm even making a difference, because it feels like we're not really making progress, but who knows..? Maybe they are learning. It's just a little frustrating to repeatedly see the blank stares and hear the mispronunciations, but then again it has only been a month. Here's hoping for better results in the days and weeks to come.
