So I spent the weekend of January 28-31 in Paris. It goes without saying that it was absolument magnifique. Here are some of the highlights:
-Being the first person to the top of La Tour Eiffel via the stairs that Saturday
-A boat tour of La Seine
-Meeting La Joconde's gaze at Le Musée du Louvre
-Purchasing a 2.5 ounce bottle of perfume for my Mom at Les Salons du Palais Royal that cost nearly as much as my entire trip
-Paying hommage to the great minds buried at Le Cimetière du Père-Lachaise
-Seeing fantastic Impressionist works at Le Musée d'Orsay
-A three hour tour in French of Notre Dame, followed by an organ recital
-Seeing the city at night from the top of L'Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile
-Eating/drinking nothing but pastries and café crème
Overall, it was a fantastic few days that I'm sure to never forget <3 Here's hoping I get to go back someday! (Preferably sooner rather than later!)
