"City of the victory"

So today I went to Segovia. It's a really, really lovely town. (Click here to see photos.) I feel like I often use the word "lovely" to describe the places I visit, but it's because it's a truly fitting word..! Merriam-Webster defines it as, "grand," "swell," or "delightful," which is exactly what I mean to convey! From the Roman aqueduct to the Cathedral to the Alcazar, it was all so nice. It's definitely been my favorite Spanish city thus far ^_^ Anyway, tomorrow I'm checking out Toledo, so here's to discovering more of Spain's national treasures!
