"...the city of Massilia shines"

So last weekend I visited Marseille. It was definitely interesting... Frankly, most of the time it felt like I was in North Africa. That being said, I’ve never actually been to North Africa, so I may be totally off base. But really, all of the French people I saw were people of color, and I seriously heard more Arabic than I did français. I’m not sure why, but it was slightly intimidating. For this reason, I didn’t take very many photos. (Click here to see the few I did take.) I was trying really hard to not seem like a tourist, and I think I was more or less successful. Anyway, ultimately, I did very much enjoy France’s second-largest ville. I loved that it was on the coast, and the weather was absolutely fantastic. Here’s to experiencing yet another all-in-all great European city! :D
