...I think I should document how I'm feeling about work. My schedule got changed a few weeks ago (yet again) to have more time with the second graders, as their big oral exam is rapidly approaching. Basically, what this means is that I'm working with them all day... It is so mentally exhausting. Like, literally a brain drain. Just repeating the same material over and over again is not at all intellectually stimulating. Not to mention the students' poor attitudes (the majority of them dislike school, and especially English). Plus, trying to deal with their misconduct takes so much energy and effort. It's making me really unenthusiastic about my job :/ Added to this is my ever-increasing homesickness. So, July (when I head back to the States) can't come soon enough. Thankfully, starting tomorrow I have 11 days off for Spring Break, which will be a nice respite. Anyway, if you're reading this and wouldn't mind sending me good vibes, they would be much appreciated..! <3
