"Una ciudad para todos..."

So, I went on a day trip to Avila today. It was pretty sweet. The town is best known for its massive, medieval walls (12th century). They extend for ~2,500 meters, and feature 90 heavily-fortified towers. Plus, the main cathedral supposedly originally dates from 1091 and is where the mystic St. Teresa had frequent visions and ecstatic experiences. Although I was only in the city for a few hours, I still really enjoyed it. I'm a pretty big fan of old things, haha. Anyway, click here to see the photos I took..!
