So I just got back from New York City... Exhausted, but a great trip nonetheless. I went with BD to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It has been a childhood dream of mine, since every year I watch the parade on TV. Anyway, we took the bus last night and arrived in NYC who knows when -- I think it was around 1 a.m. or 1:30 a.m. We hung out in Penn Station until 5 a.m., when we headed over to Central Park West to camp out. We got there at around 5:30 a.m. and surprisingly there were already a ton of people lining the parade route. But thankfully we found a good spot, and then it was just a matter of waiting for approximately four hours. Although it was only 41 degrees Fahrenheit, it still felt very, very cold, and I was very, very sleepy, but ultimately, it was worth it..! Once the parade started, it was a blast! (Click here to see photos.) The highlight for me was definitely the Sesame Street float ^_^ Overall, it was a very memorable, wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
