So a few weeks ago when I was in Madrid hanging out with my friend HZ, I bought french fries at McDonald's. And on Friday while waiting for my train to Barcelona, I bought french fries at Burger King. Perhaps some of you reading this will think it's stupid to try American fast food while I'm abroad, but I've justified it by thinking to myself, "What if it tastes different?" Alas, it really doesn't, but oh well, at least those two occasions were small reminders of home. Although, what I did find interesting is that both establishments sell beer here, haha. Gotta love Europe! :)
