Mi primer día

So today was my first day of work. It was pretty easy. For most of the morning my fellow auxiliar, Laura, and I just talked with the bilingual coordinator of the school, Mercedes. We went over the basics, and then went around meeting all of the various teachers with whom we’ll be working. In the afternoon we observed two classes, and that was it. I think what I liked best is that at 11:30am we get a 30 minute break, and there is coffee, juice, tea, cookies, and fruit provided for us :) The kids seem like they’ll be fun to work with, for the most part, and I’m looking forward to interacting with them more, although their English is very limited. Anyway, I’ll have Mondays off (yay three-day weekends); therefore, don’t expect another update about my job until Tuesday!
